About Jamal

Jamal Moore is an internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter, and recording artist celebrated for his smooth, resonant tone and rare versatility across pop, classical, gospel, and jazz. A musical powerhouse whose work transcends genre, Jamal has cemented his place as a fixture on the world’s biggest stages and in the studio.

A seasoned session vocalist and contributor to the world of cinema, Jamal has lent his voice to the scores of numerous major motion pictures. His extensive list of credits includes Wicked, Wicked Part Two: For Good, Avatar: Fire and Ash, Sinners, and HIM. Beyond film, Jamal has collaborated extensively with Beyoncé, contributing vocals to landmark projects such as Renaissance (notably on “Break My Soul”) and Cowboy Carter (“Jolene”). His tenure with Beyoncé includes major global performances at Coachella and appearances in the visual albums Homecoming and Black Is King.

Beyond the microphone, Jamal is expanding his footprint as a creative director and arranger. He recently arranged several songs for Zayn’s Las Vegas residency and served as a Vocal Contractor for Labrinth, curating vocal ensembles for world-class festivals including Coachella, Governors Ball, and Austin City Limits. Jamal has appeared on some of the most prestigious stages in the world, performing at the Grammy Awards (with RAYE), the Academy Awards (with Rihanna), and the BET Awards (with Kirk Franklin). He has also brought his artistry to late-night television, with performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Tonight Show.

A veteran of the global stage, Jamal continues to cultivate international connections. In 2025, he returned to Vilnius, Lithuania, for the Open To The World Festival, where he debuted the choral arrangement of his original anthem, "UMOJA," with the ISM Bel Canto Choir Vilnius. Previously, he toured as a featured soloist with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra for the All Rise Symphony and performed in over 50 countries as a member of the vocal quintet The Exchange, serving as an official U.S. State Department Cultural Ambassador.

A classically trained opera singer and graduate of the Eastman School of Music, Jamal maintains an active career as a classical soloist. Highlights include his solo symphonic debut at Walt Disney Concert Hall with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, followed by performances with the Seattle, Riverside, and Milwaukee Symphonies.

As a recording artist, Jamal was a Grand Prize Finalist in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest. He released the critically acclaimed albums Love Letters, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, showcasing his genre-bending artistry. Beyond music, he has lent his voice to animation in the DreamWorks series Trolls. With a thriving YouTube presence and new projects slated for 2026, Jamal continues to connect with audiences around the world.
